The service

BlurLocally is a free, browser-based photo redaction tool. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. Use it at your own discretion.

Your content

Photos you process remain yours in every sense. Because processing happens on your device and your photos are never transmitted to us, we acquire no copy of, access to, or rights over them.

Redaction is your responsibility

Automatic face detection is a convenience, not a guarantee: it can miss faces, and no redaction of a photo's pixels changes what its caption, context or other copies reveal. Review every image before sharing it. We accept no liability for consequences of an incomplete redaction, a missed detection, or the further distribution of any image. Note also that redaction is one-way — keep your original if you'll need it.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site or use it in connection with unlawful activity. That's the whole list.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
